Sunday We went out to an expensive fancy restaurant. Yesterday, a visit to the salon for my mother, and I went shopping and bought a new washer and drier. Tomorrow, a haircut for myself. Good to get back out into the world. The required precautions can be dealt with as long as you are allowed to use them.

Sure sounds like things are doing better in Idaho than here in CT. Glad to hear things are looking up, it's been a tough 3 months.

NY just started loosening up a little bit, but the city makes the whole state look more sunk than we are. I'm in upstate/WNY and we're still restricted to takeout from restaurants and whatnot, grooming services are all underground, that sort of thing.

Things will be better with things opening up, IF, & only IF, folks start following PROTOCOL,(which is wearing a mask in public and social distancing). However, I see MANY folks maskless showing me disrespect and disrespect to their fellow brothers very very sad.

Personally, I don't see a recovery but a huge invitation to a spike. People are going to make a lil bit of money, people will get ou of their monotony and more people are going to get really sick. We will know in a week or so. It will be interesting if summer heat suppresses it or not. Here in Phoenix, you can just park your car in the sun and cake baking can proceed, right on your dash.

We are in our third week of opening up and the new case numbers are still trending down as they have been since 10 April. Smaller shops and stores are opening now with precautions. Supermarkets and big box stores never closed with and they had fewer precautions required.

Guitar Center is open locally. I may do some window shopping tomorrow.

Disrespect??? I had a young employee at a local ‘necessity’ business during the lockdown, when such employees were instructed by the city and state to wear face masks and maintain social distancing, tell me that he hoped I got the virus. He walked up on me from behind without a mask and took exception when I asked nicely to maintain social distancing.

I hope the best for that young fellow. We all have things to learn.

Numbers trending DOWN!!! Yes sir! Same for Georgia, Texas and Florida. Keep yourself and others safe, and go out into the world to live and be free! People who think it's too soon are free to shelter in place. It's a free country. I'm happy for you. The first two comments on this thread remind me of the chorus of the Beatles, "It's Getting Better".

You are aware that you have LOW density which accounts for your stats.

We had some things happen in our state. Someone did some things, others took exception. And there were things done and other things that were not done. That's about all I can say.

About a half million people in the valley here. Near 300 thousand in the city. Numbers still going down. Things still opening up.
