the radio station who did the survey, radio nova, is a classic rock station. the result is not that surprising given its audience demographic - i'd say the youngest listeners are in their 30s.Hard to argue that
neither were british. my bloody valentine were an irish band, formed in dublin and they considered themselves as such. stiff little fingers identified themselves as northern irish, distinct from either irish or british and they repeatedly reflected this in their politics and their music.Again, British, not Irish.
