Come on, everybody on the internet. Learn to spell. I can't understand half the things I read online.

Imagine some lions; THEY, meaning THEM, ARE somewhere. THEY and ARE can be said seperately but you can use an apostrophe and say THEY'RE somewhere.

Where are they? in a place that is SomeWHERE either HERE or THERE.

THEIR means THEY own something. The E comes first.

a LAIR is a place where lions live. You can't use this word in the place of any of the other 3 words because it is a different word beggining with a different letter.

    Come on, people.

ps. this is not an attack on American English. English English is just as bad.

Your use of the word "beggining" buggers the English language and begs the question: "what does it mean?".

The loose usage of spelling rules loses one's train of thought.

I thought Lions live in a den, and who would ever mix up the word lair with they're, there or their?

I've learned that if I spell bad all day my tone is greatly improved for the next three. Try it!

English English and American English are both perfectly fine. It's the people who use it that are the problem.

My cat is in his lair, which is underneath one of the doghouses. The doghouse is on legs and he hides underneath hoping to catch something. Of course the opportunities are limited because we tie him so he doesn't run away.
