There's now a pretty little Model T among the rocketships.

My Recording King RPS-7 Dirty 30's, 'Buster Scruggs' (my imaginary celebrity endorsement name for it) arrived early this afternoon. It's a bit of a contrast to some of the others around here...

Seems to be a quite decent little parlour guitar, and seemingly a very nicely made instrument considering it's rather crazy-cheap price of $169 shipped.

It will need a bit of truss rod tweaking to being the neck's slight bow down to a more acceptable condition, and a few frets are starting to feel a little sharp, but I don't know if I'll have them dressed or not in the immediate future.

It came in a neat-o, old-timey, printed factory carton, within a larger shipping carton, of course.

Hey John, I don't mean to be tellin' tales outta school, but I know a feller that'll pay you ten dollars if you pick that new guitar and sing into his can. (He looks a lot like Milton Waddams from Office Space.)

well i like what i see and you know, being different is fun.
i know in the US they like big cars.
my first car would fit in some trunks of those big cars.
nevertheless i had a lot of fun of this little car that i bought new.
    3 cylinder 999cc
i never forget the moment i was next to a 2ltr Opel ascona at the traffic lights and the guy was looking at me with contempt.
but when the light turn t green he could not get up with me until 80 km an hour and i had the biggest smile on my face.

the 5 doors green on the right.

i wish you just as much pleasure with the guitar like i had with this little green monster ;-)
