.....loose Burger King French fries hiding at the bottom of my drive-through bag of two basic burgers (no pickles, please!), small fry, and a chocolate milk.

I'll never get over my immature glee of finding a handful of 'extra' fries at the bottom of those fast food take-out bags.

    At least I hope I won't.

Yes....yes, I did. I don't dislike McD's, but BK burgers are better, as are their fries in later years, and I only ever buy the small, basic, burgers from either of them. I just don't cotton to them fancy burgers they both sell, you can't eat them without a straw, knife and fork, and a pile of napkins to swab the disgusting goop they're all overfilled with off of your chin, if not your shirt front.

In my experience, 5 Guys puts more fries in the bag than in the fry container.

That's just not right, though. If you know, and expect them to deliberately toss in extra fries, it ruins the suspense and surprise of discovery associated with the experience, there's no 'Eureka'!!! moment as you sweep that crumpled napkin aside from the bottom of the bag to expose that last, tepid, three-inch runaway shoestring, which is invariably, somehow, also the tastiest fry of the lot.

Also, mega-points lost if the fries are pre-seasoned with that god-awful sprinkle dust junk so many places ruin them with these days.

I used to think Checkers seasoned fries were cool, as there is like a sweetness to them ( oil?) to go with seasoning.

But now I feel like I'm smelling a 'Funnel Cake' vibe to them, and they almost make me sick to smell- nauseous
    * for anyone familiar with Checkers/Rally's

A few things would make that picture better. Holding a beer, my ex-wife's severed head by the hair, a bong or a huge wad of cash. I few things would make it scarier. Holding a machete, an axe, a gun or a bag of McDonald's food.

We had a Rally's down here back in the 90s and their fries were indeed better then than they are now.

How many days after you wadded up the bag and tossed it did you find the fries?
