Very difficult to watch. But we watched all of it. I think it was as hard to watch as the original straw dogs. unrelenting cruelty and misapprehension, bizarre plot turns and well, just a lot to take in.

    Anyone else watch it?

The Peckinpah movie with Dustin Hoffman and Susan George? I saw it when it was released. Good movie but I would never watch it again.

Yeah we binged it last week. Agreed some parts were very difficult to watch, and bless it: I couldn’t explain that ending for a million dollars.

The new series on Prime,.. Yeah, I'm watching it. I almost bailed when the gaggle of Karens started to congregate in the street w/ radios and tables to intimidate the new family.

There are a few stories going on, waiting to see how it all shakes out. But yeah, interesting and well done but not pleasant.

Starting out slow...hoping it gets better. Right now I'm on the fence about spending more time on it.

THEM scared the bejeebers out of me as a youngling who did not understand that sci-fi was a genre.

    Our favorite old sci-fi movie.

The TV series? Didn't know there was one. Not something I'd watch anyway.

I finished the series last night. Not a walk in the park (not an easy thing to watch).

They did bring the story and the theme all together at the end, quite a statement that mirrors our current situation a little too close to the bone.

I heard about it but decided to pass on it, just as I took a pass on Antebellum. 12 Years a Slave was about as much as I could stomach and that made me nauseous for days. That one sucked all the air out of theatre. People looked stunned.

I read the synopsis....Hard pass there! Just what we DON'T need about now....fanning the flames of discord!

I'll stick with giant ants in the desert version!

our cousins 'rented some cats' to kill off their rats (they live in the rich people wilderness) the cats were (to be fair) prolific in their animal dispatchment, but.... the other day they asked if I could come by... it seems one of the cats was bitten by a snake and died... so, what to do about the cat? really?

they were amazed that a cat and snake got entangled.. I was like, 'the cats were horning in on the snake.'

they knew I'd a gone about the whole thing differently, so I took care of the cat for them and all was well (except for the cat)
