I'm not much of a Rush fan, but respect their musicianship and dedication to their craft.

Never a fan of Geddy's voice. Yeah I have to agree, that sounds particularly bad (even for him). His voice could've been shot at that point of the concert and/or tour, so I'll cut a little slack.

Probably sounded better out in the audience, experiencing the whole thing.

Radiohead are one of the best live bands around IMO. What exactly didn't you like?

A bunch of great musicians who play together very well and never seem to have an "off" night from everything I've seen..

Don't get me started on Rush. Lee's voice is an abomination, and the pretentious level at all times is off the charts as far as the music. I can't stand them.

Maybe I'm a tasteless boob, but I thought it was excellent. That guitarist is STRONG.
    I like Radiohead too.

Honestly, I have never listened to Rush before this very moment. Is he singing "Wookie Man?" Because I imagine that's how I'd feel if I were part Wookie and part human. And do they have more songs about Star Wars? I find that Middle Earth gets most of the references in rock 'n' roll, and it's high time that Star Wars gets its due. I thought it was great.

I've also never drummed before, but I think I'd have all those cymbals in my drum kit too. Mainly because I'd probably miss whatever I was swinging at pretty often, if my guitar playing and golf skills are any indication. It would be best to have a "cymbal region" so I'd at least hit something.

The music isn't the problem. That was the good part. Geddy's "vocals" here are the terrible thing I was referring to. I'm embarassed for him  I don't see how anyone can deem these vocals to be acceptable.

Tagging on about irrelevance of RRHoF: Jann Wenner seems to like everything about Rock Music except the Music itself

Paradiddles are rudiments that every first year drummer learns, or should learn if they are ever going to be worth a dam... maybe you're thinking of something else?

That really sounds pretty much the same as the original album version to me.

You're right, the vocals aren't very good, but I never thought their vocals were much good.

If that is really the worst thing you've ever heard though, try this:

I was exaggerating with this thread, but it did suck tremendously. However, I stand corrected with those Yoko clips :D She's a disaster and a half.

Kinda dug Rush back in the day with 2112 and Farewell To Kings, but I was pretty heavy into prog anyway. I mentioned them to a friend one day and he told me that Rush Music is "Pinball Music" - like you hear from a pinball machine... Remember pinball machines? Remember that music?

Kinda wrecked it for me because he was right. Maybe "Pinball Machine Music" is just Rush Music.

I KNEW someone would post lil Becky :D I did say pop music not included, because THIS is the worst thing ever. That poor girl can't even look at anyone while singing those Nickelodeon lyrics.

I didn't think the vocals were all that bad. But then, kingdom of the blind and all that...
