You know that Ken one has been a big favorite for a while at work. I was convinced it was a photoshop as were some others. Apparently people did some digging and found the real Ken and told him how infamous the album was. He was apparently a good sport and ended selling a couple of the remaining albums he had on ebay. Needless to say they fetched a better price that most records by the Beatles and Elvis would.

The funny thing about a thread like this is that the Blind Faith album is certain to appear. (Although board politics forbade me to show the sleeve) But if a topless underage girl holding a toy plane get's everybody's guts in a knot, you wouldn't want to know about the artwork of The Scorpions' "Virgin Killer" album.

Not even the band themselves agreed with what was shown and it was re-released with a more benine cover art.

I actually own this first one. Found it at a yard say for 25 cents the same year that the movie "Mars Attacks" came out. If you've seen the movie, you know what I mean...

Also, (& please don't post this image, as it is way inappropriate) If you "google image" the phrase Richard & Willie, you will find the ABSOLUTE WORST album cover of all time!...

I actually spent GBP 0.50 on this because the cover was so bad. So is the music therein.

    Millie Jackson rocks my world.

And although that "Worst Album Covers" circular email is coming back to haunt us on this thread (does The Handless Organist play "Chopstumps"?), I'm really glad that noone's posted the Louvins' "Satan is Real"... someone emailed me that and I was spitting feathers...

I'm not sure which is worse; that they look like an SCTV bit that didn't make it to air... or that I can't get it out of my head what their groupies looked like.

Ever wondered what the Flying Burrito Brothers would have looked like,
had they been born on a small Swedish island with relatives called Uncle Dad?

Why, get some slick threads with bra decorations:

Michael was in the Jackson 5 and Donny in the Osmonds, but you rarely see
that first album by Marvin's siblings:

Actually the song/album is written about the perspective of him being her father but missing her 16th birthday- at least that is what I found out with a quick google search.

I agree it is pretty creepy looking though.

I have the book of tasteless album art that this appeared in and therein explains that the dude is her dad! Dial up the creepification factor by 1000%.

I dunno either... but it reminds me ...

A friend in HS had a collection of LPs, on real thick vinyl. They were propaganda LPs put out by the US gummint during the cold war... it was compare / contrast, between capitalism and communism, with a fake thick Russian accent for the guy reading the Communist view of things. Each side took a different subject: work, government, law & order, family, etc. etc. You can guess which side 'won'. Pretty fun stuff if you're in the right mood :D

I've seen most of the awful album cover links before, but it's way fun to revisit them ... BTW I believe the Louvin's Satan Is Real is quite a collector item. A timeless classic. White suits forever!!! :D
