It’s not the prettiest of all knobs. But it gets the job done majestically:
That looks like it’d get the job done!
When I saw the term “Wonderknob,” I thought this was a thread about my old CEO at the psychiatric hospital.
PRS SE One?
I had to "alter" mine....
Yes sir. Best secondhand deal I ever made. It just needed a better knob.
Is that off an Ibanez Roadstar?

Okay, somebody's gonna ask, so it may as well be me: were you an employee--or a patient?
Those Ibanez knobs are my favorite. Not pretty? They work! Like a Telecaster, they are form and function over visual aesthetics.
It's hard to find decent Ibanez knobs these days without paying an arm and a deek for one. The little rubber tire on them is a really good design.
A few years back I made my own as an experiment, using cheap Gibson knock-offs and nitrile rubber O rings.
I took the shaft out of a broken pot and chucked it into a drill so I could spin the knob like a little lathe. I held a small triangle file against the spinning knob to cut a groove all the way around, and popped an O ring on.
They work! And they sorta look stock on a Gibson.
Is that a Lego tire?
It came from a car air conditioner. Or a toaster oven.
I just turn mine to 10 & they seem to stay there.
Looks like a car cigarette lighter, to me.
A guitar with a cigarette lighter would have been awesome back in the day, go back in time and invent it. A bonus for today's times , it could double as a USB port .
