    Hello Twangers,

here is new track out of my home studio. It´s story is the same as the last one: the main riff came to me during a session with my colleagues. Went home, recorded the idea with Cubase and worked it out further.

For the sake of the backing track, the second guitar was substituted by a - let´s say kind of - organ part. The chord changes are pretty straight this time, it´s only A minor and E minor. 90 bpm.

If you should find out that the mix could be optimized e.g., more or less volume on the rhyth guitar for example, just tell me. It´s easy to do, and I haven´t tried to play with a guitar along the track yet.

    I hope you´ll have fun.

    Nice track, Ullrich!
I thought, 2 chords, piece of cake, but it turned out a bit harder than that. As I always try, played couple of times with the track and then recorded couple of takes, here is the first one:

I have to admit, that I missed some changes, and it was quite hard to improvise over the track.

Your tone was perfect on this Raimonds. Good stuff on your phrasing .Very tasteful sounding .

Very nice Joe .Your tone worked well with this , also liked the hammer-on and pull-offs part.

Raimond - this way more challenging than you'd think. It's not two chords that's for certain.

    Nevertheless you did well.

Joe - brutal tone, is that your V?

Thank you Mark. Actually that was my old EC sig Stratocaster using Carlos in Europe amp setting in Guitar Rig 5.

I stared off with the V but could not get a tone that I liked so I went with old faithful.

Well this is what I came up with. Thought it was going to be easy but it was harder than I thought. I used my J-200 (mic'd) and my HSS strat into my Champ modeled as a Vox AC30 with compression, delay and reverb. Really contrasted with the acoustic. Comments welcome. Glad I came in on time with this track.

    Finally got them to play.

John - I liked the acoustic on this a lot as well. It inspired me to use my Blue Ridge elsewhere last night!

Mike - Nice use of more rhythm guitar on this as well as the nice lines you laid down.

So I am the last one?

What a week! My work is overwhelming me, and the missing holidays make running on empty. The whole week I did have no guitar in my hands. I felt so tired araound noon, I wonder that I was able to record something in the afternoon.

So, here it is. I used the Deluxe Tele this time. Only one track. When I hear waht I recorded, it´s a kind of time machine back to the early 70s. Hope you enjoy.

Will hear your tracks tomorrow morning.

It has been raining on and off all day (and last night), so I had a little window to lay down some tracks. Felt like that Clint Eastwood movie - the good, the bad and the ugly. But still, plenty of fun trying to play something. Great track Ullrich! Thanks for putting that together.
