This is hard and I’ve been thinking about it all day.

Since the Telecaster covers all genres, I’m going to try and pick the most iconic of each of four genres.

Rock (and Roll) - Keith #*@&ing Richards

    Blues - Muddy

    Jazz - Ted Greene

Country - this is where it gets impossible for me to pick just one. Don Rich? Jimmy Bryant? Luther Perkins?

Mine is from my earliest real Telecaster memories. But I'm gonna cheat a little and name Rossi and Parfait (two heads in one?? :p) from da Quo as one, followed by Joe Strummer, Chrissie Hynde and Andy Summers.

I agree with this list. I'm surprised that Bill Kirchen hasn't seen more love.

I think Leo should be on it for building the thing in the first place for all these guys to play.

I’m not surprised by the lack of love for Jimmy Page but I see no mention of Kieth Urban who lost a host of Teles in the Nashville floods.
    Mine:
    Keef
    Don Rich
    Muddy
    Bill Kurchin or
    Pete Anderson
    Last 2 are a tossup.
