well... i think you made my saturday night! i cringed, totally agreed with your wife, and think you are #$%^ing nuts for doing that, BUT, i loved it, and your results are exactly what i expected them to be.

    good job, wilson!!! :)

[mental note - *never* loan wilson a guitar when syracuse is in the final four ;)]

Can't imagine throwing a Tele (or any other decent guitar) against a wall. I have a custom built Tele Custom, phenomenal guitar, and treat it like its worth several million dollars. It'll do anything I want or need musically and is a work of very fine art. Abuse simply isn't in the cards ... under any circumstances.

Syracuse is playing right now. For your sake and for the sake of your Teles, I hope you're watching it at a friend's house.

You've got to much money, don't deserve the guitar, and I'm afraid if I carry on I'll get banned from the forum

Opinions are like anuses...everybody got one. Not something that I would do to any guitar but I applaud your humor and your devil may care attitude...Rock on Dude.
I love the outrage directed to the OP it shows genuine care and love for the mighty Tele.
Lighten up a little...it is his guitar. He can do what ever he wants with it.
OK I will admit it....it hurt me a little too....

Should of been a Gibson as far as I'm concerned!! I'm against the whole thing, but it's your Tele, your wall and mostly your wife! Just hope she is a forgiving soul. ;)

Personally, this sort of ultimately pointless behavior makes me feel sad. From an emotional perspective, given how hard I've had to work to buy or parts-cast build my beautiful teles I really don't think we inhabit the same planet at this point in time... Please. Seriously consider giving your guitars regardless of their brand or quality to someone fired up who really wants to learn how to play, respect and further music.
Respect what you have. This planet is full of those who have not.
Geez. After years of ghosting this forum I'm ranting on only my second post!

I mean, this dude did work and made his own money to buy his own guitar, and for that he has the right to throw it against the wall if he wants to. And if it broke, he'd have to spend his own money to fix it or replace it.

I don't consider throwing expensive gear at a wall to be fun! But, whatever floats yer boat!

I know, this is the tele forum, but I'm here for everything but teles.
This is one of the best things I've ever seen be done with a tele!
    That was awesome.

Geez... that's one way to make an entrance. It screams "gimme internet points please!" Many points have already been made, but hey.. it's "rock-n-roll" you claim.

Reminded me of a vid I saw in the past, a kid trying to prove how indestructible his screen protector is with a hammer...
