Did anybody play it without the Bm?
That's the money chord.
AFter seeing Ziggy Stardust, I became a Bowie superfan; all things Bowie Transformer. BINGO. I don't think original Lou fans dug the hard rock sound. I DID! Hunter Wagner got me to see and get into Alice. I probably got RNR Animal the day it was released. I have never been to NYC, but I imagine Lou was all NYC & NYC was all Lou.^^^^I know hard-core VU/Lou Reed fans who hate that record. It’s way too rock ‘n’ roll for them. I don’t get it !
We used to come home from the bar and play Sweet Jane and the end part of Starship Trooper forever. Until we were sober or our fingers were bleeding !![]()
I've never performed it, but play it at home all the time for kicks.
I just ( wrong!) assumed song was in the key of E, so I play the correct pattern. with C#m, but in E.
I guess being on solo acoustic here, I just like hearing the low E string when the E chord comes around
* I also like playing Lou's " Rock and Roll" at home ( in C)
Talk about 2 great grooves!
