This is an early attempt at looping, I think it ended up very pleasent. I did this around 2002. First I came up with a loop, then spent time finding, singing in my head, the melody to go with it over the next hours to days to months,,, I may have auditioned a number of melodies I came up with,, and after choosing one, that led me to the shimmery tremolo chord in the accompaniment. Back porch vibe, lazy in a canoe with one leg dangly in the deep green water vibe.

All Line6 PodXT Live, and the very cool Line6 green looper,,, and of course my ASAT Special with the tone knob rolled off a fair amount.

This was done a decade before I got that Goodrick book. None of those kind of chords.

    Nice , I really like this ...
you got a definate Dave gilmour type tone over a greatful deadesque type lead tone , and ultra clean recording , very nice relaxing stuff , I could hear this as a sound track, well done

Yea, I posted a lot of recordings here partly because I don't trust reverbnation, they restricted my access to a lot of my more recent stuff. So maybe store them here and get some reaction at the same time,

    Thanks,
That sound might have come from my Yamaha MagicStomp. I used my S.Yairi with a magnetic pup, and my semihollow with Antiquity pups for the tremolo chord. I think it's all MagicStomp come to think about it, it was around 15 years ago I recorded it.

the piece reminds me of the outros on a couple of tunes on the doobie bros what were once vices.. are now habits lp... (one of my favorite of my childhood) I think you should work them into songs...

Yep, very cool vibe and some fine, relaxed playing there. Thanks for posting!

I will confess (considering a six-minute piece), that long about 3 minutes in, I was hoping for a "B" section. That could easily be my short attention span talking, but if a person were looking to re-visit that piece, it might be worth thinking about. Otherwise, I think @getbent nailed it - that would make a great outro for something.
