i have no pain in my lower back and left leg after living with constant pain for four years.

Previously getting out of bed was so painful that it took 4-5 minutes just to stand. Just now I swung my feet off the bed and stood with ease (2 normal legs). I could cry (joyfully).

The surgery was supposed to last 90 minutes but it took 180. There was a lot of spur and abnormality that the Doc removed from my spine. The nerve is no longer pinched. This is amazing "quality of life" stuff.

I'm feeling joyful and very blessed. Aurora West Allis.......fantastic smart kind people.

    Happy!

Hey John, are you home, or is this straight from the hospital bed?

    Congrats!

    That's great to hear. Congratulations.

I've had both of my knees replaced and, although I still have some joint stiffness, I don't have knee pain anymore. Before I would have days where it was difficult to walk. Now I can take my granddaughters to the park and chase them around.

    Enjoy your reclaimed life.

Thanks! I'm in the hospital and I have my phone and iPad. They wake me up constantly so I peak at mail.

Great news and the other good news is that I think they have this pretty much down pat now.

Mrs. S couldn't move with the pain and had one back in 1993 and was playing netball again again 6 months later.

This is great news! Congrats, man. Don't we live in a cool time? For all the BS in our world, there are advantages to being a part of "modern man".

So glad to hear that it went well.
I've had quite a few surgeries in my lifetime, and have always taken them in stride. But for some reason, the thought of back surgery unnerves me.
I hope you have a speedy recovery.

Way to go, John! And on top of the pain relief...look how improved your photography is! :)

So glad you got immediate relief and look forward to hearing about all the things you can do pain free...
