That pina colada song. No I won't post a link.
Sorriest POS ever. But then he probably lives in a chateau and I live, well, here.

I had the same thing. There are enough people that want to play them so the world isnt missing anything by me not playing any.

A couple friends of mine decided we should butcher a Skynyrd song so badly that no one would ever ask us again . So picked Searchin'. Totally beat it to death. So of course the next thing we got asked was if we were going to do that " F " song....

The Weight, by The Band, it may be the greatest song ever written but I personally don't care for it...

I keep meaning to do some sort of novelty singles thread on here, they are something that have disappeared to some extent...

    ...if not entirely

Anyway, here’s this morning’s suggestion for this thread:

There are dozens, but this one is near the top of the pile.

It's just bloody annoying, and not half as clever as it thinks it is. I've hated it since it came out. :)

Pachelbel's Canon and Barber's Adagio for Strings. Movies were saturated with these pieces for a long time.

Mull of Kintyre. As if the song itself wasn't bad enough - he puts BAGPIPES on it!

I wonder how much more you would dislike it if you heard my improv of the solo because apart for the opening licks i play it nothing like the original, a few have even asked me what solo is that from. But i enjoy changing stuff about now is weird really, because when i started playing i never envisaged do this, it is only since i started playing after a six year lay off it has come to mind to try.

Me and music i can put up with most songs i suppose, providing i dont hear them over and over again i think newness is the key for me.
