On the excellent comedy Derry girls they’re at a wedding and the song comes on. Everyone sits on the floor and pretends to be in a boat. I’ve never seen this before but it’s a thing?

Have such stupidly narrowminded lyrics ever been backed by such bland and insipid music in such a weak, sad little try at authenticity and machismo?
