Thanks for posting. Haven't watched this in a while. Soooo good! What's so cool to me is how smoothly Linda just waltzes on and takes command of the stage and ROCKS it. The guys are almost in awe of her. And Keith and Joey S. from NRBQ in matching baby blue tux's singin' back up. Doesn't get any better!
Hail, hail to Keef for pulling that together (in time)
Peace - Deeve
She needs a more authentic backing band
S. P. A. M. P. I N A.T O!
Here's another from the Midnight Special TV show, probably in the 70s. Great band. Notice "Skunk" Baxter on bongos! Also notice Clydie King and Shirley Matthews on vocals and Andrew Gold on guitar.
...OK Eddie, tell the truth did you have to look up the spelling of his last name or did ya really know it!
Bongo bongo bongo
I don't wanna leave my congas

Bingo bangle bungle
I'm so happy in the jungle
I refuse to go...
Linda was one of those rare singers who could go from soft ballads to full-on rockers and nail all of it.
And incidentally - Cub Scout Uniform Ronstadt was the best Ronstadt.
Gotta get me that merit badge. God bless ya Linda!
I've listened to that Damn song so many times.... I dont think Ill ever forget how to spell spampinato

Yeah she does, like maybe some members of the Eagles.....
