The other day I was driving around, dropping my kiddo off to school, and listening to a college radio station, then along comes this bompin' track:

and I can't find it anywhere but youtube.
who were they? there's a 70s80s surfpunk-ish band by the same name, and I think another from Canada (not sure if these are the same band?) but these are not the same cats as the 45.

where can I find this? must. have. MORE. :)

Sounds like they may be acquainted with Bo Diddley's lawyers. ;)

the Bo Diddley influence is unmistakable. But.. daaangg! the track is hittin on all cylinders.
I bought an LP offa fleebay with a bunch of 50s/60s tracks including "I'm in Love" (credit: Jan and Johnny Hudson)
can't hardly wait!

local brissy band, late 70's...

Not the same band Trev.

There was a bit to be found about Fond records and to be found about the parent/studio named on the label in the first post (left of the hole in the disk)

Drilling down into the producer names I found there took me to a FB page Lost Bands From Indiana

Bo Diddley definitely should have been credited.
the thing is - these cats were on fire - you can hear how much fun everyone is having in the recording.
It's tight. it's loose. A touch of Link Wray and The Champs.
and naturally, when the video finishes (in my feed) it goes straight to The Cramps. Lol. Yaaas!!
