I was reading one of those click-bait articles where each page only contains one paragraph and one pic, and you have to keep clicking next ad infinitum. At any rate, this article was about old time saloons in the late 1800s/early 1900s, and one of them was the real Long Branch in Dodge City, made famous by the Gunsmoke series as the place owned by Kitty Russell, and where Matt, Doc Adams, Chester, Festus, and Quint would hang out and drink, when they weren't hanging out in Matt's office, or saving lives, or chasing and killing bad guys. So, here it is, the real Long Branch. According to the article, there was a period of 12 months in the 1870s when there was no lawman in Dodge, and there were 12 murders in that period. The Long Branch was only open from 1870-1885. The article doesn't say why it didn't last after then.
