    So...did it make you sound like Kenny V?

    I know your goal in life is to play with a band like the Superlatives!

    ;)

    It has the KennyV vibe about it... those nocasters sound so good... pretty wild how well that guitar sustains.. like natural compression.... I had intended to switch to the white one.... but, forgot or didn't want to tempt fate or some silly thing... saturday!

    I have time carved for saturday to get the body ready and start wiring... I can't wait!

    [update: I've been working most of the day on the guitars.... tweaking and beginning to install stuff... I should have it together tonight or tomorrow]

    some pics from today-->

    I am having a friend cut in a bone nut, and a final checkout and setup and then off it goes to brian friend for a pw bender! Yay, I can see the finish line. I learned a lot... I'll do a lot more right on the next one!

    Yow.

    Sah!

    Get Bent's life takes on a whole new meaning - he's forging guitars with his bare hands.

    Bwwaaaahaaha! (that's an evil laugh)

    The ONLY think I would have done different, and this is a big one...is to have made it for me as a surprise present.

    Nice job on all of them, getbent. Don't forget to update with newer pictures when that last one comes back from its bender surgery. ETA?

    unknown. no rush. I sent it to Brianf today... I had mixed feelings... I'll miss it and have not really put it down since I got it running...

    then, I spent some time this afternoon with my rhomco varicaster and ol'green.... and, well, I am super excited to try the pinebender! ha ha!

    I need to sell some of my regular teles and some other guitars to make room for new projects.....

    oh, and some goofy sound samples of the pinebender (without the bender)

    Very nice! I wish I had the patience to be as fussy when it comes to cosmetics. "Lord, give me patience, but I need it now!"
