It's a series on Netflix. I enjoyed it very much. It may not be your thing. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 100%.

No Netflix allowed in my house. What you watch in your house is your business.

My wife was adopted. When Beth gets adopted and realizes there are problems with her new situation and that it may not be stable, I related her predicament to my wife's own story and it gave me an insight that I did not have before watching this.

Well, the reason there's already three separate threads on this show (mine being the original, lol) is because it's good.

Great show. The story, acting, dialogue, and everything else is amazing. Similar to Marvelous Mrs. Maisel I am blown away by all of the sets. The meticulous re-creation of things like a quintessential 50s department store or drugstore are simply amazing, IMO. Really shows the power of what Hollywood can create, IMO. The young girl and the leading lady are incredibly good actors. This thing has multiple Emmys written all over it.

Don't think I'll be watching this. I have a well-justified fear of redheads
