How to get the guitar to sit right -- girdle, liposuction, Pilates for beginners?
Pilates might make it worse, you're strengthening muscle under the fat. Great exercise though.
I'd cut high-glycemic carbs and alcohol, but failing that:
I hated those bowls even when I was skinny. I'd need a concave shape now. Maybe raise it higher? Or:
That's the main think I disliked about my Ovation. Not quite as bad as sitting and playing a Flying Vee, but close!
Needs some sticky tape on the back.
Drink more beer. If you had a bigger basketball for a beer belly, that little old guitar would just rest on top.
Or cut a whole in the back of the guitar. Jig saw ought to do it.
Get a heat gun and a rubber mallet. Heat up the back and pound a reverse-bowl into it.

I couldn't get that build of guitar to sit right even as a skinny teenager.
I'm still pretty skinny now, and experience hasn't proven much help, either.
If you have a knife,shop vac and a straw you can do home liposuction*!
