Fun idea I came up with. What better to sing about than love (ironically my wife left me almost a year ago, lol) for a happy, feelgood hook perfect for dumb dancing around the living room (DAMHIKT). Whenever I've written on the topic of love, I always challenge myself to stay away from the words "love" and "heart" and express it in other ways instead. I'm a low budget guy, so acoustic and bass guitars were recorded direct on my old Tascam 8 track. I programmed the drums with Hydrogen freeware. Mixed in Audacity with freeware plugins. The sloppy lead done on my MIM Tele Vintera Modified through a Vox head and homemade cab, SM57. Vocals recorded with a Shure Beta 58. Just a rough demo, everything was done in just a few takes. All photos in the video are my own photography - my Texas collection; just some stuff to look at while the music's playing. Enable CC for the lyrics.
