    Tommy Emmanuel for sure. Only guitarist that I've ever seen or heard that makes my jaw drop in awe every time. He has something special.

    Me, too. He can play in any musical context (Naked City thrash, pastoral country, straight post-bop, . . .), fit right in, and still sound like his unmistakable self.

    I got to go with Danny Dias
    And Larry Carlton both for their Steely Dan work

    Both were extremely creative with their phrasing n a different way

    Denny Dias
    could almost do saxophone Lines no string bending but create wonderful phrases

    Larry Carlton on the other hand knows how to incorporate string bends into his melodic phrasing like nobody's business amazing players both of them

    These guys have big brains and their bodies know how to make what they're thinking come out through their playing
