Of course there will be some sound difference due to different woods, but I don't believe it will be a big difference. A thinline is a different story... the body itself is different. I tryed the CV thinline and the CVC and the difference was obvious... thinline a bit warmer/softer and CVC more bite! I chose the CVC...

I'm still curious to hear the CV 50's BSB....

    Thanks for measuring the ohms.

Those are the exact same ohms as the CVC which I suspected is what they would do now all 3 CV Teles have the exact same pickups.

The onlly differences in this new BSB one and the older white blonde ones are the pickups and color thats it the rest is identical.

Man, those are some great pics! Many thanks :)

Guess I'll have to add the BSB to my stable of 3 Squier CVs, might as well have them all!
Can't wait till they start showing up in stores.

BTW, is the price still $349 for the BSB?

I was worried about the grain when I first saw the stock picture - but the real one is totally something else!

The BB CV doesn't show up in the new version of Musicians Friend, but if you clear your browser history and go back to Musicians Friend's site, you should be able to find it.

This looks much more appealing than the original pictures. I didn't like the color in the first pictures that Squier released and I was actually relieved that I wasn't triggered to buy one. Now I'm not going to be able to get this out of my mind. Let the Squier CV BSB vs 51 AVRI BEGIN!

Just noticed in Greg's pics that the BSB looks like it has dome knobs and the white has flat tops. Cool.

They're metal. Have you ever seen plastic knobs that are meant to look like metal tele knobs? I can't even imagine the cheap knockoff brands stooping that low.
