The Rose Bowl game with Stanford and Iowa is a blow out. And it is almost done as a One Man Wrecking Crew staring Stanford's Christian Mccaffrey. What an amazing game of BEAT DOWN.

I am talking about an even matched Bowl Game. Maybe you can give some guidance how those 2 teams were ranked in relation to each other when they played? I see the game was played in October so it was not a Bowl game and maybe it was a D1 school vs a lessor team? I am referring to 2 teams that are ranked # 5 and #6 so its a level playing field.

I thought they had rules to prevent this from happening...

Most of the top Bowl games have been one sided so far. I hope the last few get more competitive.

I'm enjoying this immensely, I hope that Stanford beats Iowa by 1000.

The Northern Illinois - Boise State Poinsettia Bowl was a 55 -7 win by Boise. It seems they aren't matching the teams all that well.

Just last night Alabama #2 / Michigan State #3 was almost the same exact score.

Being an IA native I wanted to possibly check out that game somewhere. Now I'm glad I didn't.

I just hate that New Year's Day has become (almost) a non-event in college football... as opposed to the orgy it used to be.

Just saw that the national semifinal games had ratings that plummeted from last year. Well, perhaps because of who was playing, but more likely the timing. Who the heck thought it was a good idea to schedule those games for New Years Eve? Looks like I'm not the only M:eek:RON in the bunch!

Just curious.....did one of your favorite Illinois teams get crunched by the Hawkeyes in the regular season? No biggie (or hard feelings) either way. We have a state full of Iowa State fans who will be celebrating the Stanford massacre of Iowa. Although I'm an Iowa grad and fan, I predicted the outcome of this Rose Bowl game. That McCaffrey kid is one class act and immensely talented. I thought Stanford was VERY underrated all season and would totally crush Iowa with their power, speed, and talent. Wish I'd been wrong. Happy New Year.

Its kind of tough to watch these games since it seems like all of them are on ESPN and I ditched the satellite TV a few months ago. I think the Citrus Bowl was about the only game on network TV. I dont expect all games to be on network but this is ridiculous.
