Hi folks, after an unusual year the Meteora is ready, this was my first build from scratch.

The body shapes comes from the Meteora from Alternate Reality, and the headstock from the Starcaster with a twist.

    body: 2 piece swamp ash.
    Neck: 1 piece mahogany.
Fretboard: Pauferro, 20 radius, abalone inlays.
Electronics: Di Marzio (push pull in humbucker mode)
    Pickups: Fender Tex Mex

Sweet. I wanted to love the Meteora but the MIM one I tried was an utter disaster in terms of build quality.

I bet yours plays a lot better!

That’s really clean. Love the burst.
How much time from inception to completion did it take?

Very cool dude, that’s a nice looking guitar. Nice burst on it and lovely looking wood grain. Great job.

Thanks! About 11 months, most time consuming part was the poly finish, more than 4 months to fully dry. Next time I will start with that

Haha thanks! The Meteora shape is for sure amazing, but the models from fender are missing something and for sure the price it’s outside my posibilites, this one at the end cost me about $600.

I admire that talent and perseverance. Saw the new gt NAMM a couple of years ago. I’ve never owned an offset. Yours is the best I’ve seen.

Sure, parts, finish, woods, without counting the tools and labor hours.
