Greetings:

Ligers are fascinating, but I don't think that they should be on this list as they are hybrid of a male lion and tigress. I didn't know that tigers (Siberian and Bengal) could be that big and heavy (850 lbs.+)!

The other issue with Ligers are their very poor health. In nature they wouldn't have existed. Human interference in the natural order of things scores another big fat zero.

Lions, Tigers and Bears....oh my! All are badass....all are beautiful and amazing.

One of my dreams (when I was younger and could actually do thing!) was to go on a Safari in Africa.

I still remember clearly (when I was 7 years old in 1962) going to the local movie theater and being mesmerized watching John Wayne is Hatari. That started my infatuation with Africa and the various amazing predator/prey situations.

To this day, I still enjoy watching doc's or the youtube postings from the various Safari sites.

They’re bred for their skills and magic. Ever watched the animated Napoleon? Just as good but more fantastical. Motorcycle ball of death in a cornfield and such. Voiced by the original cast. It’s very good.

Just looked at the weight chart for big cats.

Apparently I'm about the same weight as a cougar.
