I live in Boise. There's a fellow here who has built rock star guitars since the early '80s.
He has built countless fiddles for Rev. Billy & Co., from the furry spinning Dean Zs to the Billy Bo to the ones with neon to today's wild creations like the Strat with Red Devils.
There is so much mojo gets injected in these rockstar guitars that us ordinary mortals can only dream of. Or afford. It's the secret sauce that we can sometimes get a taste of.
So combined with the "Tone is in the Fingers" mantra, it's small wonder the Reverend can sound fantastic no matter what he picks up to play.
