I have a Tidal account. I had Spotify. Both are good. I've had the chance to discover music I had never heard before. Usually these are new bands but I was going through Jeff Beck's catalogue and I was picking through for songs that I like, just the same way I do everyone else's music. My playlist is huge and I like every song in it.

I started playing his album "Who Else?". Wow! It reminded me of Satriani but THIS is what I always expected out of Joe and I didn't even know Jeff Beck had done this kind of music. So, it's and oldie but it was new to me.

But wait... there's also "You Had It Coming". Holy Crap! This style, technique and composition blows my mind. The command Jeff has over his guitar and amp is awe inspiring to me. It's also depressing. How do you learn to play like THAT?

    Isn’t it mind blowing? @Torren61

I’m flabbergasted when I encounter new (new to me, but certainly old) music.

I’ve recently picked up bass again and listened to one Jaco’s older albums.

I’m beyond marveled at how good people are with their instruments..

    It’s bewildering!

Yeah, Jaco was just amazing. Then I read his story and his music became even more amazing. One of saddest stories in music.

Love to discover new music that inspires. Its an experience that is harder to find as you get older for so many reasons but when it happens, it makes you young again. Thats the only way I know to describe it. Not every pearl shines but those that do, light your path.

Pandora has turned me on to a ton of new (the me) music in the last few years. I listen to it every day.

I found this band several years ago during a random search for something different. This entire album is top notch in my opinion. YMMV

    Strange Celebrity - Remedy

Here’s a song from that album
