These guys probably surfed about as much as the Beach Boys didn't (pun intended) but pretty cool sound.

Very cool, scratchy Jazzmaster sounds w/ reverb or delay - baritone kind of tuning

Looks like he's playing that bass pull bar style.

I was wondering what he was up to, b&w with not too many close shots. Cool retro theme though.

Lol, grew up on the west coast. Pretty well known that the Wilson Bros didn't surf at all. Daddy had some good connections in the industry and they were basically what we'd call a boy band these days. Nonetheless I think they had some great jams and would take them over any slapped together prefab group these days.

I wasn't aware of these Jokers

...and now for my daily dose of useless trivia.

In Rock n Roll Hootchie Koo, Rick Derringer mentions: There was a group called The Jokers, they were laying it down.

The RD Jokers were local to the mid-western Ohio area, as RD was from Ft. Recovery OH.

One of the original Jokers, Harold Miracle, guitar player, just passed away in Celina, Ohio.

These Jokers are Belgian. That's a handy factoid to know when you're asked to list some famous Belgians.
