    Well gentlemen,:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I gotta say though, In all honesty, I was a little worried there at the end.
If there's a quarterback & a team in the NFL today that could have come back & scored with 23 seconds left, it was Brady & the Pats.
    Great game.

Yeah boy! Had to DVR the ending (guests leaving) and was riveted. That 15 yard penalty was painful (due, but painful).

NE's 3rd consecutive post season loss. Time to seriously question whether it's over for the Pats.....

Agreed. Going back to the Super Bowl loss to the Giants, N.E. has been a serious under-performer in the post season.

And props to the Jets! Man I never saw this coming... they wore the Pats out.

I am so glad that the pats lost! I can't stand Brandy and Billicheck(not sure of his spelling) they represent nothing but arrogance and poor sportsmen in my eyes.

Yep. Liked the Jets today, but even if the Pats prevailed, I still wouldn't like New England to beat Pittsburgh. Despite their 14-2 record, I wasn't "buying" them all year.

Pittsburgh will get dealt with next week. Jets/GB Super Bowl.

I was hearing the same stuff about the Jets from all the Patriots fans all week. But it's all head games.
Guys start hitting when they get on the field. But the game starts as soon as the last game ends.

The funny thing is that both teams end up wanting to be this guy:

The Jets worked themselves up for the game against the Patriots, almost making a list of the ways that they have been insulted by the Patriots over the year. It fueled a very strong game from them today.
Can they work up a similar resentment and hatred of the Steelers? Did someone on the Steelers make fun of Ryan? Did Big Ben celebrate too much after a touchdown? Did a Steelers fan tell a New York joke?
The Jets thrive on being wronged somehow. It will be interesting to see if they can go all week without finding an excuse to hate the Steelers.

Don't care for either team actually BUT the lesser of two evils is the Jets so I am happy they beat the **** out of the Pat's. That team I really dislike, just cause Belacheck is a frggin cheat and Tom B is just well him. The only saving grace is that the Jets have the Steelers next and they ain't the Pat's. So the Steelers are going to unleash some old fashioned whoop ass on the Jets me thinks. thanks

The NFL will call some crappy penalties on the Steelers defense and which will help the Jets win. Im just sick of the non calls against Big Ben being hit, and the weak calls on the D.

IMO the real superbowl this year will be next weekend. Jets vs Steelers.

I've decided to wear green pants and talk smack this week. Maybe drop some hints about my wife's feet. We'll see where that gets me!

As a NE fan I felt really good going into this game but that changed just before kickoff when it was announced that Welker would sit the start. Around here it's "In Bill We Trust" but I still have no idea what he thought that would accomplish. Sure, Welker went against "orders" and talked a bit about Ryan, even though in an offhand way, but still. You prep 2 weeks for a game, prep a week for an opponent and then you stir it up at the last minute? I think that move, more than anything the Jets yacked about got into the Pat's head. Couple plays later and Brady tosses it to NY's D and it was downhill from there.

Not to take anything away from the Jets, but I think Bill beat himself in this one. He took his team out of it's game plan to make a point that didn't need to be taken.

You do that! Let us all know how it goes.

Pats were outcoached and outplayed. What else can you say? Great job by the Jets D.

Congratulations to the Jets & their fans. They definitely put their best foot forward.
    Good luck with the Steelers.
