Live on stage in 1969. I must post this as great music must live on.

They were my Dad's favourite band, I struggle to listen to them without getting sad though unfortunately.

    Especially this one....

That video is blocked to the USA. The Hollies were effing amazing actually. It's a shame you don't hear more about them.

These are all songs that I listened to in my formative music years. And they bring back so many nostalgic memories. Simple times. I'm SO much older now. :(

I always liked this track - uptempo and very tight!

    Great band, always loved em’!
Tony Hicks is a great, under rated guitarist.

This has always been my favorite Hollies song. I never heard it as a kid and I initially breezed over it when I got a compilation later on. I'm glad I had another listen. I do wish the low end of the bass was mixed in better.

LOVE the Hollies! Kind of a funny coincidence, behind the house John Lennon grew up in Liverpool, knows as "Mendips" is a plaque for another house that says "The Hollies".

That must be a happier, honorable house.

Love the Hollies. Had a great body of "work". Fast, slow, r&r, r&b, did it all.

I've ALWAYS liked The Hollies, going back to the sixties. On a Carousel is a favorite, as well as this "less well known" song......enjoy.

Woodstock was August, 1969.....he was probably already working with Crosby and Stills when this clip happened, if 1969 as stated.

Terry Sylvester is in the video so it is after GN left. Hicks as noted above great guitarist. He looks really young in that video.
