I read through the whole thread just to make sure Steve Perry was mentioned. I still can't believe he was only mentioned twice though, his vocal ability was insane in the 80's.

Todd Rundgren. He ticks all the OP's 10/10 scores for Macca, plus he's a much better guitarist.

Man, I hadn't even thought about Dusty. Now that you say it though, what a good mention. He's kind of forgotten as a vocalist, but he had a great voice and worked perfectly in the context of that band. And a great co-frontman! Gonna have to do my weekly listen to at least the first 3 Top albums to atone for what I've done.

Three that come to mind for me are Roy Orbison, Elvis and Rod Stewart. Very hard to name just one.

Elvis. No one else is or will ever be considered king of rock and roll. The fact that anyone else is a rock and roll singer is because of him.

Roy Orbison. Talking voice alone. His music was well okay, but his voice will never be matched. Even the Traveling
Willberry's sound great with him. Nuff sed....

Sam Cooke is one of the all time greats, but I wouldn’t consider him rock, though.
