Love those guys. Here's my favorite-it's a Tom Waits cover with acoustic bass and Ry Cooder-like guitar.

Back in 2018 Paul Thorn released a gospel album.

I was surprised.

But it's the best new gospel album I've heard in 10 years.

My favorite cut.

These are all fantastic! I don't have any particular favorites other than to say that no music has moved me more deeply than the old Spirituals and Gospels I've heard sung at Homegoing Services in small southern churches.
