And the Go-Gos were seriously cool. In fact they were almost signed by a punk label.

Belinda used to visit me alot and found their first album was gold when called her management from.my house. The first time she heard We Got Beat on the radio I was in her Volkswagen with her. Man did I feel cool!

They have what, 3-4 hits everyone wants to hear? Guessing they might be the last act on NYE? A few other acts in front of them? When I play a NYE gig we play 3 sets about an hour each. I can’t imagine the Go-Gos doing that.

You are from Oconomowoc? So am I. My father owned the Ben Franklin Crafts store. Did not know that a Go Go lived there, too. Small-ish world.

I had 40 acres just north of town for 10 years. I got married in Oconomowoc.
