The Great Eddie Kendricks was on his game when he sang lead on this classic from the Temptations, I know that there might be some debate on my opinion, but for those of you with the song just sit and listen to the crispness of Eddie's voice, of course all of his leads were great but this one just stands out.. of course he co-wrote the song...from 1964!!

See for yourself. Not really my cup of tea- phrasing's pretty square and I'm really not wild about his voice, but of course it's an old recording through You Tube sound, which is particularly cruel to high voices.
