It’s as if you are all fascinated by a story of animal cruelty at Auschwitz.

People are scared/fixated by fictional “evil” far more than documented true-life abominations.

And that , my little scaredy cats, is why it has gone on for hundreds of years...

The devil was the most demonic character in The Exorcist ?!:lol::lol:

I don't think of this book as having to do with what you mentionned. It is a fictionnal book, based on a case of possession. But it is all good ! :)

Okay, maybe it's like you've got a pot of toad frogs boiling on the fire, if you throw one hen egg in there, you haven't made it into chicken soup! :D

Such a, uh, game changing film.
It’s not at all my kinda entertainment, but it was ultra controversial in it’s day.
I saw it, in the day, was unfazed, and never gave it a second thought.
I’d rather take a mild beating than endure it again.

    No,same film.

Non-religious single mum with liberal leanings gets targeted by demon for no reason,if she'd been a lapsed Catholic that would have added more spice. Traditional conservative Catholic church steps in and saves the day.

No reason explicitly laid out maybe, but the subtext is there.

Dang! I’d definitely rather be unfazed than take a beating. Different strokes, I suppose.
