Year after year so many promises of the end coming and always nothing but disappointment.

It's only 6.5' in diameter. I think we'll be okay.

It's just a number. We couldn't get to 667 without it.

Read Immanuel Velikovsky’s, “Worlds In Collision”. That comet is going to loop back around one of these days. They always do, just like Halley’s Comet.

Doomed as doomed can be, I must say!:D

'Asteroid' sounds more way more sensational than 'a six foot wide rock', but at twenty-some-thousand odd mph, I really don't want it to land in my backyard either, though it's probably likely that it would burn up and/or explode in the atmosphere before actually striking the ground.

The 2013 exploding meteor over Russia was an approximately 66 foot wide near-asteroid, and caused significant damage, but the energy of a six-footer would be exponentially less, though not exactly harmless, depending on where it struck.

But it's almost certain to miss us anyway, so I'm not going to lose much sleep over this one.

Just not quite big enough to put us out of our misery and do a "do-over".

You need to be aware of the Falling Asteroid that’s about to make landfall?

Have you made Plans to Avoid it or done nothing at all?

It’s a “Rock” the size of a household refrigerator

And is scheduled to be here sooner rather than later.

It may burn up before it hits you

but traveling at Seven-Miles-per-second don’t be surprised if it splits you.

What will you do if your hometown takes the hit?

Will it crash into your House or end up in your yard in a Pit?

Just in case it comes my way and without being verbose

I just wanted to take a second to say Adios.

If it happens to me just put on my Grave Stone

“He got his Ass-Destroyed by a Falling Icebox-Sized Asteroid”
he never could leave well enough alone.

It's just a relatively teensy one, 'fridge-sized' I guess. Neil DeGrasse Tyson said it won't do much...unless it lands on your head, of course.
