Just got home from a weekend "on the road"...am contemplating taking the DA and some 320 paper to this...

    and this

my guess is that there might be enough clear on here to level it out...

if you know what I mean!

I know Steve's a fan...Got to these these guys(and girls) again last night... Simply the BEST!! Thought you might enjoy.(This is an old clip, we lost John Hughey(on steel), but the group is carrying on and he's still there with them, I'm sure). Paul Franklin is now with them on steel.

very nice, reminds me of somthing you'd hear on a Gaither Homecoming video, which isn't usually my thing, but it brings back memories of my childhood.

    Pox on the crickets, eh?

No football, no volleyball, no cross country, no barfing...let's do some clear!

I know I said that this one had all of the clear it needed, but I sanded most of that off...

so we will put on some more!

    It is getting close, really

The Canadian Blue job hanging in the rear really just needs to be sanded and buffed.

I had that Green One at a paint store recently...I told the boys to hold it in the light.

Their collective jaws hit the floor. :)

They said something like "Nobody puts flake on that thick!"

I said, "I do! And it is an absolute pain!"

They said, again collectively, "No kidding." (Except they didn't say "kidding." If you catch my drift.)

On top of that, the GNATS are out in force tonight. They seem to have a death wish for fresh goop.

    Go figure.

But then I reckon not many gnats work for NASA.

If you know what I mean.

    The Emeraldcaster plays fine.

    When I play it.

I've switched pretty much back to acoustics and the Sparklecasters are gathering dust!

    ;)

Every now and then somebody will ask, "Whatever happened to ....? Did you give it to a niece when we weren't looking?"

Here's an accounting of where we are...

I think there are eight (8) in the paint room...

this is the paulawania body that was Apricot sparkles before I decided to take the flake off and put it on in a way that wouldn't fall off.

That was sort of the beginning of THE BAD TIMES.

This is a basic green one I have been working on to prove to myself that I can actually do this...

    so far, so good

then we have this BLUE one that I just redid because I wasn't happy with the way it was the first time...

Gee! Is there a trend developing here?

Here we have an ORANGE ONE...

I redid the sides on this one, but I don't remember if I ever told anybody that. Maybe that cat just jumped out of the bag!

    Gosh!

Heres one that is ready for polishing. I don't think I've redone this one! (yet)

(that's a joke...no reason to suspect it will need it)

There are two of these...three actually I guess...

that need to be sanded down and have another coat of clear applied...but I don't want to do that until I am sure that I will only have to do it once.

    And now you know!

Things are moving...at what at times seems like about the same speed that continents move...which is about the same as you fingernails grow.
