DAMN!

It's like I was THERE!

That was hilarious. The HEB comment made me spit my HEB Taste of San Antonio coffee!

The name of my next geezer band: The Sin of Comfort.

I have known the chill and I have known the heat.

That's why I live in Colorado now.
I’ve spent 50 of my 68 years in the southern part of the US.
South Carolina, Texas, Arizona, and Oklahoma.
I spent the other 18 years in the north, Minnesota, France and Northern BC.
I prefer the North.
I’m seriously considering heading back to BC.

He ain't wrong!
It's like you become a prisoner to the heat and humidity.
When you add in the daily random thunder storm, you have very little time to cut the grass (that always needs cutting)!

I cook, dry clothes and heat with Propane. My 2 month Electric bill used to be $45 or so. Now it's $260 after 15 years of creeping up.

And for the longest time we had the highest power in the U.S. even higher than Hawaii. Our rates have come down and my solar system sure helps but reading about some people’s electric bills is just frightening

We had a new heating and cooling unit installed last year. We bought a new refrigerator this spring. I'm curious to see if there is any effect on our power bill. It's been a mild summer, but it's heated up somewhat recently this month, and next should tell the tale.

"Each degree a betrayal."

This guy should do a series of different bills, each with a different author's style.

That guy is great !! Do you think he ever pays for his drinks at a bar, or other patrons buy just to listen to him talk ...? I know I would !
