I felt like I could use something different and thought a nylon-stringed guitar would be nice. So I picked up this Godin ACS SLIM Synth Access guitar. I have a Godin A6 Ultra and have been very pleased with it, so I thought another Godin wasn't hurt. I haven't tried the synth yet, but don't expect anything unexpected. Godin makes some great guitars for the price point.

If my friend and I ever get going on our instrumental duo idea this guitar might come in handy. Of course, I'll have to get more comfortable than I am on fingerpicking. I'm okay at home, but will have to kick it up a notch in order to play out.

I will, however have to think at least 10% seriously about selling another guitar to satisfy... oh hell... I ain't selling' nuttin!

Of course I have to have the obligatory paper shredder in the background. :D

They should establish rehabilitation centers for this disease!

Well, it’s a Godin, so it’s entirely justifiable.

congrats! one more won't hurt! looks like a lot of fun.

ps: I have found that the shreds from paper shredding make an excellent way to start up charcoal for the grill in one of those metal charcoal tower devices. Toss in a few twigs and small stuff to keep it going, and there's your fire. Of course, if you've got snow on the ground, you may have to wait to try this...

Those chords represent the slob that I am. :D Trust me, it gets worse!

Thanks. I think it's purdy... and it's sort of Tele shaped.

My wife's parents got us that a long time ago, probably shortly after we were married. In fact it may have been a wedding gift. You'd have to know my father in-law to understand how much sense that makes.

Playing this here Godin is a real finger workout! I like it!

I run a private rehab centre for this disease from my home on Vancouver Island. If the residential program is too inconvenient, you can opt for my outpatient service. Just pack up your collection and ship it over to me.
