So we've just been binge-watching this series, loved it.

I guess if I had to describe it I'd say it's a supernatural, horror, police procedural suspense thriller, but that doesn't do it justice. Kind of like 'Dark' meets 'Sixth Sense'?

Superb performances from the whole cast, including the ever-watchable Peter Capaldi, the simply remarkable Jessica Raine, Nikesh Patel and a very special young actor called Benjamin Chivers.

I binge watched it in late 2022. It was fantastic. This cast was phenomenal, including, and especially, the boy. Plot twists galore right up to the last second. Maybe the best series I've seen in the past several years.

I'm really enjoying it too.

Peter Capaldi does the terrifying act incredibly well, whether sheer existentially terrifying like in this role (in my experience the complete opposite of himself in real life) or comedic scary as Malcolm Tucker in "The Thick Of It".

In fact I've yet to recall something he wasn't anything other than great, even in early films like "Local Hero".

Yeah, he's seriously disturbing in this. I've been a fan of Capaldi since the TV adaptation of Iain Banks' 'The Crow Road'. I don't want to think about how long ago that was now, but Capaldi is only a little older than me.
