    ...just finished off homebrew cocobolo neck ...fitted to old homebrew body recently re-finished...

    ...pickups scn noiseless...brass bridge...bone nut...

    guitar weight ~4kg~8pounds

    No... but non-tele builds usually end up in different parts of the forum... like the Bad Dog section

    It's simply a double horned Tele with a strat bridge, strat pups, and a strat pickguard. Obviously.

    This is a downunder Tele - they do things a bit different there.
    It is one beautiful guitar.

    Ga day mte, throw another shrimp on the barrbie,dingo eat me baby, tie me kangaroo down,,,,sorry but that is a beautiful guitar really like how the light comes off the finish in the third pic down

    Australian ash is GORGEOUS! How's the weight on that? What kinda finish?
    What nation is the cocobolo sourced from?

    thank you all

    guitar weight is around 4kg ~8 pounds

    neck has no finish...just sanded to 1200 grit and burnished

    i used flash in me pics so the colour is brighter/lighter than actual ...it is darkening before my eyes as well in a gradual manner...starts of with a bit of mottling upon fresh sanding

    body is min wax wipe on poly

    i got the cocobolo from a US ebay seller ...i presume it came from Latin America somewhere

    Really nice. That grain is just awesome. Looks well made too. Nice job!
