The Clock In The Room:

He opens his eyes, its 5:00a.m.
Still feels tired as the day begins
Stairs at the ceiling and lays in bed
Still holds her close like a newlywed
All is quiet, save the clock in the room.

Pets the dog and he's down the hall
Thier lives told in pictures, on every wall
Feels a kiss on her cheek, hears the front door close
The house goes so quiet, and she knows, all is still, but the clock in the room.

~solo~

Faith. hope and love, these three remain. The things that shaped thier lives are the things they would not change.

What the decades haven’t altered, and time can not consume.

A love that never falters in a life that ends too soon, forever safe, from the clock in the room.....

Whoa. That's simply marvelous. Incredibly creative. Love the light dissonance and changes going on. And simple on the surface but some deeper complexity going on. Really marvelous job. I love how it was not 'overproduced', it's so effective in this style. Wow!

Many thanks for listening guys. Its a tune I had recorded all the guitar tracks in December of 2019 shortly before getting stuck in Japan by the zombie apocalypse. Recorded with this Andrew White Freja 512FS:

I bought this in Korea in 2016 the year the factory had opened.
