$10 Coffee Continental makers from Freds, Dollar Gen, etc. Last just as long or longer than Mr. Coffee, and the coffee tastes the same.

Yup. Genesee Cream Ale tallboys for $0.99 here in MD. Can't beat it.

Also, Barbasol. Best jingle ever, and the shave is just fine.

Netflix is pretty good and cheap, and I discovered they have Koop's mustard at the local dollar store, good stuff!! Oh, and the pretzels are good too, for $1.

+1 on the Barbasol, used it for years. The Cream Ale not so much.

Another vote for barbasol. Although....I'm currently on a business trip and the dang TSA took my barbasol away!

Have to counter the lack of love for Levi's. The 509's (my fav) can be had for $30 a couple times a year when they go on sale. Well-made and a good fit, imo.

Me too! As far as other cheap things I like Bomber lures and ugly stick down rigger fishing rods. Can't complain about Marshalls when a good designer shirt by Michael Kors shows up for 15 bucks.

Yeah...like all telecasters are the same!

(holy crap, no other coffee nerds here? A Mr. Coffee coffee maker makes coffee like... a 9v. transistor radio makes 'music'...)

Clearly, you have never been to Jackson Hole!;)

Those multi packs of LED flashlights complete with batteries that end up costing $1 apiece (the flashlight, complete with batteries) or so. I throw them in my glove compartments, guitar cases, etc.

I'm a thrift store freak. I've bought almost all of our drinking glasses, most of my short-sleeved shirts, many CDs, vinyl LPs and books, some furniture and lots of miscellaneous stuff there over the years.

As for new products, I'd go with Dewar's White Label, +1 on Timex Expedition watches (I'm on my second band on this one although the alarm stopped working a few years ago).

No lack of love - I've sold more Levi's than almost any other person in this country during the late 70's and 80's, but there was a marked decline in quality during the 80's. And I wouldn't call $30 especially cheap when you may have a pair of Wranglers for half the price. And most Levi's cost between $45 and $50 at Sheplers. But you use what you like and what fits you best if you can afford it ...

I've worn Levi's pretty much ever since I was old enough to buy (and therefore choose) my own pants, but the last time I bought a pair (the 505's I'm wearing right now), it seemed to me that the denim is much flimsier than it was even a couple of years ago.
