I think my cat liked the Jaguar best....
Milo prefers Godin.
bought a strat body from the US once, it came wrapped in a cool gig bag....bonus...
the cat took immediate interest in it.... ZZzzzzz....
I think he spent the next few days there...
Yeah, i lost a cat that way. It was the cat or the '66 strat.
i always knew guitars and pussies went together ....
Guys, I don't post here often, but I do lurk when I can - but I got the weekly email with the "hot threads" and couldn't resist checking out "Cat and the Strat".
My guys have always loved the guitars, or at the very least - antagonizing me by admiring them in their own way. Mind you, I'm not a cat guy universally (if a neighbor's cat is in the yard, I shoo him away) - but I think MY cats have always been the coolest ever so they have always been welcome to hang with the instruments - carefully, LOL.
The late, beloved Pumpkin favored the high gain characteristics of the Peavey 5150. Peanut, RIP, was a bassist at heart and favored Ampeg. And the heir apparent hot shot guitarist kid, Popcorn, has decided he's more of an 80's guy, chasing the tones of guitarists like Brad Gillis (heavy on the trem work and sustain) as well as Adrian Vandenberg
No guitar in this image, but Charlie always hangs out in the music room, when I am playing.
my first home built tele body.... being tested for warmth and sustain..
My wife had a cat that would run from the room if he sensed that I was even reaching to pick up a guitar.
Perhaps the previous owner's female cat had spent some time on the bag previous to its relocation half way round the globe?
I have this kind of help, too. When I am putting the string it disappears... and I find it on the floor with the hunter trying to bite it. Or when a string breaks.
