    I stumbled across this on YouTube this morning. Not only is it fascinating and wonderful, but Mr. Kramer reminds me a great deal of Brian Wampler, but in appearance, demeanor, and approach to his craft.

    That is really cool! I had thought the Japanese had cornered the market on high end cutlery...

    Likely a brandy or Sherry with the salmon. Some kind of a distilled/fortified wine.

    Probably Bourbon... to go with the smoked salmon I'm guessing.

    Oh, my bad... I obviously wasn't paying attention to that part of the vid :D

    Bob Kramer is so highly regarded that a group of 45 artisan bladesmiths in Japan make a line of licensed Kramer Knives, and those start at $400. for an 8 inch chef knife. That's for those who can't wait months to pay thousands for a one-off Kramer made knife auction.
