I've got the older GT-100, and I generally like it. But from what I can tell about GT-1000, they still haven't fixed my biggest beef, which is how bad the pitch shifters sound. At least they changed to small foot switches from those clumsy rectangular switches they've used for years.

Having both, I like the simpler GT-100 in manual mode. The GT-1000 had me tweaking controls for two weeks before I got a usable tone. The
GT-100 is still used on pro boards today. I still think the GT-1000 needs an update to control the brightness of it. I also wish it would do manual mode but it doesn't. I also agree that its smaller, about the size of the ME-80. For pitch shifting, I would just buy a pitch shifter and put it in the loop of the GT-100.

I moved on a couple of pedals in the last few months and picked a much maligbed fdr1 and a dd3. The fdr1 is always on, and adds a gorgeous colour to my basic sound. I blend its reverb in with amps and the vol/gain setting means i use the volume for overdrive. Im totally digging tremolo too. Its got to the stage where i havent used my bd2 much at all, and thats my favourite pedal ever.
The dd3 is great. I only use it for rockabilly type stuff, though every time i turn it on it makes me go 'uh-huh'.
    So my lot are tu2, ge7, bd2, od3, fdr1, dd3, rc20xl
Brilliant pedals, no.need to look anywhere else.

the tuner, TU2, the trem TR2, the super-od SD-1 and the DD-3 delay. They'll still be working even after Keef drops.

Great score! Possibly the most misanthropic fuzz pedal ever. I've got the Behringer clone and it's pure evil in a box.

Cheers Basher! It’s a great fuzz box, though I also love the FY-6 Super Fuzz which the FZ-2 is based on. From the serial number mine is a 93. Can’t believe the mint condition its in - it looks unused, and I snatched it up at a very reasonable price. They’re going for twice as much on Reverb compared to what I paid!

Funny he didn't have a TU-X. IME it's one of the most popular Boss pedals.
